The gentrification of Austin has been a hot topic. We all like to get together and be pissed off about the same thing. It's in human DNA. Unity in humans is pretty much how our species has survived, thrived and evolved into the innovative people we are. The negative impact of humans on our fellow animals is hard not to notice.

Austin and the rest of Central Texas has always been a thriving hotspot that is home to all kinds of critters big and small. As urban development spreads, every acre of wooded or brushy land that's cleared leaves numerous animals scrambling to find a new home. It's exciting when you see a fox darting across stassney or a big buck crossing slaughter in the middle of the night. It's also an indication that mankind's way of existence is disrupting the lives of other species who have no voice in the matter nor are they offered a chance to be integrated into our "society."

Luckily, there are people who devote their time and energy to counter the negative impact that comes along with fancy Tesla cars and condominiums. Since the government does little to nothing to help with the financial burden, these organizations depend on donations. If you would like to make a donation, either of these organizations do wonderful things for our communities and would appreciate any penny that comes their way.
